About KidVision

KidVision is dedicated to early detection for successful correction
of common childhood eye disorders.

One in twenty children, has a serious eye disorder, yet more than half go undetected. KidVision screenings detect the problems, such as poor focusing and misalignment of the eyes, that lead to vision loss (amblyopia). The key is to have your child's eyes screened between the ages of 2 and 5--the earlier the better--

for best possible treatment results.

Using a simple photographic vision-screening method, KidVision screenings can detect vision disorders that, left untreated, can cause permanent vision damage. KidVision staff & volunteers work with pre-schools, child-care centers, physician clinics, hospitals and health fairs to conduct vision-screening events--screening as many Nebraska children age 2-5 years as possible.
